Cookies
Tactical Soccer does not set its own cookies or any tracking or advertising cookies. That is why we do not show a cookie consent banner.
One clarification: if you use the “Continue with Google” button, Google may set its own cookies to manage sign-in, according to its policy. Also, some pages load Google Fonts typefaces.
Browser local storage
To make the game work we store in your browser (localStorage) the data it needs: your progress and squad, in-game money, chosen language, preferences, your account session if you signed in, and the offline installation of the app (service worker). This data is necessary for operation and is not used to track you. If you clear the site’s data in your browser it is erased (and you lose any progress that is not in the cloud).
Usage measurement
We use two forms of measurement, both designed to respect your privacy:
- Cloudflare Web Analytics: visit statistics (page views, countries, device type, where you came from) with no cookies, no fingerprinting and no cross-site tracking. Learn more.
- Our own anonymous events: counters of actions such as opening the game, playing a minigame, playing a match, watching a video or installing the app, together with general data such as the language, the type of source of the visit (search engine, social network, direct…) and whether you had visited before. They include no name, email, IP address or identifier that could recognize you, and they cannot be linked to your account.
We use them only to understand whether the game works and to improve it. They are not sold or shared with advertisers.
Anonymous in-game measurement
We count actions without identifying you (for example “the game was opened” or “a minigame was played”). You can turn it off at any time; the choice is stored only in this browser.
Your browser sends the “Do Not Track” (or Global Privacy Control) signal: measurement is turned off automatically.
Our own measurement also turns itself off if your browser sends “Do Not Track” or Global Privacy Control.
Advertising
Today the game shows our own decorative boards beside the pitch, like stadium advertising: they say “tactical-soccer” and they do not follow you, collect data or use cookies.
In the future we may show real ads or sponsors to help fund the project. If that happens:
- we will update this page before turning it on, stating who provides the ads and what data they use;
- if a provider (for example an ad network such as Google AdSense) uses cookies or identifiers to personalize ads, we will ask for your consent where the law requires it (for example in the European Economic Area and the UK) and you will be able to decline;
- you will be able to manage ad personalization at adssettings.google.com or aboutads.info/choices.
How to control or delete this data
From your browser settings you can view, block or delete the data websites store. If you delete the data for tactical-soccer.games, your local progress is erased: first turn on the cloud or note down anything you want to keep. For questions write to [email protected].
