This is how a play comes together in Tactical Soccer: the ball moves through every position on your team — goalkeeper, defender, defensive midfielder, attacking midfielder and forward — and each one earns its National Team call-up by leading a season leaderboard and clearing a training challenge in its own minigames.
GoalkeeperStarts the play from the back. For the National Team they lead the clean sheets table and clear a challenge in Keeper Formation. 
DefenderCuts out the advance and wins the ball back. Leads the clean sheets table and clears a challenge in Game Vision or Auto Sequence. 
Defensive midfielderOrganizes the middle and distributes the play. Leads defensive recoveries and clears a challenge in Quick Touch or Tiki-Taka Memory. 
Attacking midfielderDelivers the final pass. Leads the assists table and clears a challenge in Precision Shot or Find & Evade Rivals. 
ForwardFinishes the play. Leads the top scorers table and clears a challenge in Penalty Kick or Tactical Order.
What is Tactical Soccer?
Tactical Soccer is an amateur football manager game that plays entirely in your browser, with no downloads or installation. You start with a base squad, sign new players within your budget, and train them with minigames that raise their Defense, Pass, Attack and Energy skills. The minigames span four types of challenge — reflexes, visual speed, memory and logic — and in matches your own performance on each play combines with your player's real skills to decide the outcome: you don't win just by having good stats, or just by being skillful yourself, but by the combination of both. Once your team is ready, you find rivals in Competition mode and play matches resolved with your own minigames — every win adds money, records and grows your stadium. You can also build a technical staff (Fitness Coach and Doctor) that boosts training and injury recovery, and join Tournaments to compete against other real players for prizes in the game's virtual currency (not real money). And if you want to play with friends of different levels, there are Penalties: 5-minigame shootouts where your squad doesn't affect the result, in three modes — solo against a CPU keeper, 1-vs-1 with a friend, or in Penalty Tournaments.

An assistant guides you through your first steps with goals that pay cash prizes, and warns you when something could get you stuck: injured players, a tired squad or a lack of money.

There are minigames of reflexes, visual speed, memory and logic — each trains a different pair of skills, and your performance combines with your player's real skills.
Technical Staff
Hire a Fitness Coach and a Doctor as you climb through the Leagues: packs to train several players at once or speed up injury recovery.
Competition mode
Find rivals and play matches where every play is resolved by comparing your result against the opposing keeper's.
Tournaments with prizes
Sign up alongside other real players, advance through the rounds, and win in-game money (not real money) and Technical Staff packs if you finish among the top spots.

A 5-minigame shootout where the result depends on your skill, not your squad: perfect for playing with friends of different levels. Solo against a CPU keeper, 1-vs-1 with a friend, or in Penalty Tournaments.

How do you play Tactical Soccer?

You can also build a technical staff and join Tournaments against other real players.
What types of minigames does Tactical Soccer have?
It has 13 minigames of four types: reflexes (timing, motor anticipation, aim and precision), visual speed (visual discrimination, selective attention and pattern recognition), memory (visual, iconic and photographic) and logic (mental arithmetic, mental agility, sequencing and cognitive processing speed). In matches, your own performance in each one combines with your player's real skills to decide the outcome.
Can I play against other people?
Yes. Besides the Local League against the computer, you can play Friendlies against any club, challenge your Friends, or sign up for a knockout or round-robin Tournament with cash (the game's virtual currency, not real money) and Technical Staff pack prizes for the top finishers. You can also play Penalties: 1-vs-1 shootouts of 5 minigames where your squad doesn't affect the result.
Can I play with friends who have a better squad than mine?
Yes, with Penalties. It's a shootout of 5 minigames where each round goes to whoever scores higher, so the result depends on your skill and not on the squad each player has: it's a great way to play with friends of different levels. There are three modes: solo (practice against a computer-controlled keeper), 1-vs-1 (a penalties challenge to a friend or another club) and Penalty Tournament. Challenges and tournaments with other players require signing in and saving your progress to the cloud.
What devices does it work on?
It works on any device with a browser — phone, tablet or computer — with a mobile-first design.
Is there a guide so I don't get lost when I start?
Yes. Your Club Director is an assistant on the main screen that suggests one goal at a time — put your player on the pitch, train, play your first match, sign a player, build your lineup, buy the stadium and get promoted — and pays you a cash prize for each one. It also warns you when something could get you stuck, like injured players, a tired squad or a lack of money. The details are in the complete guide.
